Qualifications and responsibilities for this Facilities Manager position include:
- Bachelor's degree in Architectural or Mechanical Engineering, or equivalent experience with a minimum of 2 years of experience in the building and construction industry.
- State Architectural Engineer license preferred, with experience managing building systems, including mechanical, structural, lighting, electrical, fire protection, and acoustics.
- Hands-on experience in facilities management, with museum or controlled environment experience highly preferred.
- Availability to respond to emergencies and provide on-call support.
- Proficiency in CAD, Adobe, Microsoft Office Suite, and project management tools like Basecamp or Dropbox.
- Modify building plan documentation to reflect additional components and performance features as per Facility Report agreements.
- Manage building operations, inspections, contractor supervision, and procurement for construction and conservation projects.
- Oversee and calibrate heating, plumbing, lighting, and ventilation systems to ensure safety and efficiency.
- Evaluate cost estimates, procure specialty materials, conduct system inspections, and ensure compliance with safety and performance standards.
Salary: $100,000 - $140,000 per year, commensurate with experience.
