Qualifications and responsibilities for this Electronics/Fiber Optic Production Test Technician position include:
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in electro-optic design technology or equivalent.
- Certified Production Technician (CPT) preferred but not required.
- Proficient in soldering techniques, including surface mount and plated through-hole soldering to IPC standards.
- Hands-on experience with electrical and optical test equipment (e.g., optical power meters, oscilloscopes).
- Familiarity with Microsoft Word and Excel; ERP systems (SAGE, NAV, Sugar) training available.
- Assemble, test, and calibrate electronic and optical products to quality standards.
- Troubleshoot and repair optical test instruments and replace faulty components.
- Program PCB assemblies and perform final quality checks.
- Repair and calibrate customer equipment while supporting new product development.
- Collaborate with engineering to enhance product design and performance.
- Maintain compliance with ESD and Quality Management Systems.
Salary: $28.00 - $30.00 per hour, commensurate with experience.
