Qualifications and responsibilities for this Electrical Engineer PE position include:
- Must hold a current Professional Engineering (PE) license and be eligible for reciprocity in other states
- Minimum 8+ years of electrical and communications design/construction experience, with preference for DoD project background
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, and MicroStation for hands-on design work
- Strong understanding of applicable design and building codes and construction contract administration
- Design electrical and communications systems for military, industrial, and commercial buildings (new and retrofit)
- Prepare design plans, specifications, cost estimates, and conduct quality control reviews
- Perform site visits and document conditions, assist in feasibility studies and manage large-scale construction projects
- Must be a U.S. citizen and able to work hybrid (3 days in-office: Wed/Thurs mandatory, 1 flexible day)
Salary: $120,000 - $150,000 per year, commensurate with experience.
Benefits: This full-time, permanent, direct-hire position offers great benefits including a $3,000–$5,000 sign-on bonus, year-end performance bonus (average $3,000–$5,000), hybrid schedule, Cigna health insurance ($50/paycheck), 100% paid dental, subsidized family coverage, 11 paid holidays, 3 weeks of starting PTO (negotiable), 401(k) with 3% match on the first 6%, and short/long-term disability (50% covered).
