Are you an experienced Electrical Engineer looking for an opportunity to work on impactful federal and government projects? This Columbia, MD-based firm specializes in multi-discipline architectural and engineering design, delivering high-quality projects across the U.S. and overseas. You'll be part of a collaborative team working on power, lighting, fire alarm, and communication systems for hospitals, research labs, and government office spaces, with opportunities for career growth and leadership development.
Qualifications and responsibilities for this Electrical Engineer position include:
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical or Architectural Engineering; EIT preferred.
- 5+ years of electrical engineering design experience in a consulting environment.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD and Revit for electrical design and documentation.
- Experience designing power, lighting, fire alarm, and special electrical systems.
- Conducting power studies, including coordination studies, arc flash, and short circuit analysis using ETAP or SKM.
- Performing site surveys, developing design drawings, and writing specifications.
- Providing construction phase support, including administration and proposal development.
- U.S. citizenship required due to federal and government contracts.
Salary: $100,000 - $120,000 per year, commensurate with experience.
