Qualifications and responsibilities for this Electrical Designer/Drafter position include:
- Degree or technical diploma in Drafting, Electrical Design, or related field
- 3+ years of experience in electrical drafting, preferably in power generation or industrial systems
- Proficiency in AutoCAD Electrical or similar CAD tools (e.g., SolidWorks Electrical, Inventor)
- Develop detailed electrical drawings and panel layouts based on engineering markups
- Prepare technical documentation: single-line diagrams, control schematics, etc.
- Interpret and apply industry standards (NEC, IEC, IEEE) for compliance
- Collaborate with engineers and project managers to ensure accurate, complete designs
- Organize drawing libraries and support field teams with updated installation drawings
Salary: $70,000 - $90,000 per year, commensurate with experience, plus bonus opportunities.
Benefits: This full-time, permanent, direct-hire position offers great benefits including 10 holidays, paid vacation (estimated at approximately 3 weeks), medical and dental insurance with varying coverage levels and partial company contributions, a 401k plan.
