Qualifications and responsibilities for this Director of Program Management position include:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related field (MBA or relevant certifications a plus).
  • Minimum of 15 years in the defense industry or related fields (nuclear, aerospace, etc.).
  • At least 5 years of experience in program management and 5 years in an engineering role.
  • Strong leadership skills to oversee and mentor a team of 2-10 people, ensuring strategic and technical success.
  • Proficient in reading and interpreting Statements of Work (SOWs) and Terms & Conditions (Ts&Cs).
  • Capable of managing complex programs, ensuring adherence to schedules, budgets, and customer requirements.
  • Experience leading responses to RFPs and RFIs and coordinating cross-functional reviews.
  • Ability to build and maintain strong customer relationships and effectively present program results.
  • Knowledge of program management tools and experience with business agreements (Teaming Agreements, NDAs).
  • Willingness to travel occasionally and represent the company at trade shows or international meetings.

Salary: $100,000 - $200,000 per year, commensurate with experience.
