We have an immediate need for a Director of Landscape Architecture to join a leading engineering firm. Our client has been in business for over a decade, with offices in Connecticut and Massachusetts. With a team of 25 professionals, they are expanding their operations and looking for the right candidate to fill a strategic position within the company.
The ideal Director of Landscape Architecture candidate is a licensed Landscape Architect with experience in Connecticut, preferably with 5-10 years of experience, who is willing to grow and develop a department within a young company. They will be responsible for client communication, attendance in public hearings, zoning regulation amendments, and permitting, as well as overseeing landscape, lighting, and design projects. The candidate should have excellent design and communication skills, a strong work ethic, and a willingness to work collaboratively with the team.
Qualifications for the Director of Landscape Architecture position include:
- Licensed Landscape Architect in Connecticut preferred
- 5-10 years years of experience in landscape architecture
- AutoCAD proficiency
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
This full-time, permanent, direct-hire position offers a competitive salary and great benefits!
The salary range for this position is $80,000 - $150,000 per year, depending on experience, with a 4% match on 401k contributions.
