Qualifications and responsibilities for this Diesel/Auto Mechanic position include:
- 3+ years of experience in diesel and automotive maintenance and repair.
- Valid driver’s license required; ASE Certification is a plus.
- Proficiency in diagnosing and repairing diesel and gasoline-powered vehicles.
- Experience with preventive maintenance for fleet vehicles, heavy equipment, or large diesel machinery.
- Perform engine, transmission, braking system, and lighting repairs.
- Conduct diagnostic tests and determine necessary repairs.
- Maintain detailed service records and follow safety inspection checklists.
- Ensure a clean, organized work environment in the shop.
Salary: $25.00 - $28.00 per hour, commensurate with experience.
