Our client is a rapidly growing company seeking a Project Design Engineer who can bring a mixture of architectural and mechanical engineering skills to their team. This individual will need to possess a strong understanding of the structure, facade, and mechanical elements of building design, including window wall systems, thermal calculations, and civil engineering. The ideal Design Engineer candidate for this position will have a structural and civil engineering background and a deep understanding of building facades. They will have experience with AutoCAD 2D and be familiar with Inventor and Solidworks. The successful candidate will be comfortable with travel outside of the country once every four years and be able to attain security clearance.
Qualifications for the Project Design Engineer include:
- Bachelor's degree in Civil or Structural Engineering
- 2+ years of relevant experience in building design
- Experience with AutoCAD 2D, Inventor, and/or Solidworks
- Strong understanding of building facades and window wall systems
- Ability to perform structural and thermal calculations
This full-time, permanent, direct-hire position offers a competitive salary and great benefits!
Our client is offering a salary range of $65,000 to $90,000 for this position, in addition to bonus, commensurate with experience. Benefits include health insurance, 401(k) with a 3% company match, PTO, paid sick days, and competitive health insurance packages, including PPO and HSA options!
