We are seeking an experienced Corrosion Engineer/Project Manager to lead impactful rehabilitation construction projects on Long Island. Qualifications and responsibilities for this Corrosion Engineer/Project Manager position include:
- NACE CP2 Certification or higher (Cathodic Protection Technician) required
- Minimum 5 years of corrosion engineering and rehabilitation construction experience
- Manage and mentor a team of 3-5 project engineers and corrosion technicians
- Oversee projects valued between $1.5M - $2M with technical leadership and client interface
- Lead project initialization, budget planning, and procurement of materials
- Ensure site safety compliance, manage subcontractors, and monitor project cost
- Communicate project progress, resolve issues, and drive client satisfaction
- Support business development and maintain professional credentials
Salary: $130,000 - $150,000 per year, commensurate with experience.
Benefits: This full-time, permanent, direct-hire position offers great benefits including medical, dental, vision insurance, 401(k) with 3% company contribution after one year, paid time off starting at 10 days in the first year (increasing to 16 days), and performance-based bonuses depending on company revenue and individual contributions.
