Qualifications and responsibilities for this Controls Technician position include:
- Minimum 3 years of experience servicing electronic and/or mechanical systems
- Install control wiring, controllers, sensors, and software for building automation
- Strong understanding of HVAC systems including chillers, boilers, air handlers, and terminal equipment
- Diagnose and repair complex electronic system malfunctions
- Ability to explain technical systems to both technical and non-technical users
- Provide hands-on training to customers and internal mechanical teams on controls operations
- Proficient with PC-based software and ability to program HVAC software
- Experience with systems such as Tridium, Carrier, Metasys, Trane (preferred)
Salary: $30.00 - $45-.00 per hour, based on experience.
Benefits: This full-time, permanent, direct-hire position offers great benefits including a company vehicle with gas card, full uniforms with 11 pairs of pants, a $150 boot allowance, all hand tools provided, bonuses, and a Monday–Friday 6:30 AM – 3:30 PM schedule.
