Qualifications and responsibilities for this Controls Engineer position include:
- 10+ years of experience in industrial controls, preferably in metal and steel pipe manufacturing.
- Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
- Expertise in PLC programming, particularly with Allen Bradley Logix and Siemens Simatic S7.
- Experience with Rockwell Automation's Studio 5000 and Siemens's TIA Portal.
- Ability to configure and troubleshoot AC and DC variable speed drives from brands like Allen Bradley, Siemens, ABB, and Yaskawa.
- Strong knowledge of Ethernet/IP and Profinet for PLC communication.
- Experience with HMI/SCADA programming and deployment, including Ignition.
- Willingness to travel (up to 20%) for on-site installation, debugging, and commissioning.
Salary: $100,000 - $150,000 per year, commensurate with experience.
