We're seeking Contract Harnessing Technicians for a short term contract role to support critical spacecraft assembly. This is a unique chance to work hands-on with advanced flight hardware in a growing team that values precision, collaboration, and innovation.
Qualifications and responsibilities for this Contract Harnessing Technician position include:
- IPC/WHMA-A-620 current certification (SPACE addendum is a huge plus)
- Experience with wire harnessing using 28 AWG or smaller
- Recent hands-on harnessing work within the past year
- Skilled in hand soldering (solder cups; not PCB soldering)
- Assist in spacecraft harness assembly and subassembly fabrication
- Interpret technical drawings and wiring diagrams
- Perform quality checks to ensure compliance with aerospace standards
- Collaborate with engineers and other technicians on spacecraft builds
Salary: $40 - $70 per hour, commensurate with experience.
