We’re hiring a Construction Foreman in Chicago, IL to support on-site operations across multiple renovation projects. With no office time required, this flexible and fast-paced role is perfect for someone who thrives on the jobsite and enjoys doing whatever it takes to keep projects moving. You’ll work alongside a seasoned team on kitchens, bathrooms, and home additions — all while helping a company that’s expanding rapidly and has more work than it can handle!
Qualifications and responsibilities for this Construction Foreman position include:
- Minimum 2 years of experience in residential construction, with hands-on knowledge of jobsite operations
- Assist Project Managers with daily oversight, demolition coordination, site meetings, and workforce monitoring
- Supervise deliveries, manage materials and tools, and ensure on-site readiness
- Float across project sites handling a wide range of tasks as needed to keep projects on schedule
- Monitor labor productivity and ensure subcontractors adhere to safety standards and timelines
- Effective communicator with strong organizational skills and a team-focused mindset
- Local travel only, Monday through Friday from 8 AM – 5 PM, directly on site (no office work)
- Reliable transportation required; gas card provided
Salary: $40,000 - $50,000 per year, commensurate with experience, plus bonus potential.
Benefits: This full-time, permanent, direct-hire position offers great benefits including a gas card, 2 weeks PTO, and benefits provided after 6 months of employment. Bonus opportunities are also available.
