Qualifications and responsibilities for this Construction Estimator opportunity include:
- 3 - 5 years of construction estimating experience with commercial and residential projects
- Must have experience using construction estimating software, Plan Swift is a plus
- Projects include commercial new construction, renovations, and interiors
- Must be knowledgeable of subcontract agreements and AIA documents
- Gather and prioritize information to prepare work for construction projects
- Create construction budgets based on home plans, specifications, and projected costs
- Evaluate purchase offers, including cost changes, additions, and site requirements
- Obtain bids from vendors and subcontractors, negotiate prices, and maintain cost and price data
- Ensure quality service and communication among work teams while staying updated on industry knowledge through education and networking
Salary: $75,000 - $100,000 per year, commensurate with experience.
