Qualifications and responsibilities for this Component Engineer position include:
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical or Electronics Engineering (advanced degrees/certifications advantageous).
- 4 years of experience in electronics, or more.
- Experience in Supply Chain / Parts Procurement is desired.
- Practical skills with Electronic Assemblies, knowledge of Analog/Digital Electronics, Printed Circuit Boards (PCB), Microcontrollers, FPGA, and On-Board Power Management.
- Strong understanding of electronic and electro-mechanical component datasheet specifications.
- Proficiency in electronics principles, schematics, printed circuit design/layouts, and component testing.
- Experience creating Boad-Level Bill of Materials, and qualifying materials for PCB production.
- Experience with electronic component testing instruments, particularly for authenticity and quality checks.
- Familiarity with certified environments (ISO9001, ISO14001, ESD S20.20, AS6081) preferred.
- Provide technical support, validate components, and resolve issues for sales, purchasing, and customers.
- Lead communication with manufacturers, collaborate on data projects, and develop technical documentation.
- Support quality control, in-house testing, and manage customer relationships with technical expertise.
Salary: $90,000 - $140,000 per year, commensurate with experience.
