We’re seeking an experienced Commercial Roofing Estimator to join the team on-site in Texarkana, TX. This is an exciting opportunity to work on large-scale federal government projects ranging from $500,000 to $10 million. With over 1.8 million square feet of completed roofing projects, this family-owned company is expanding and looking for top talent to help drive continued growth and success.
Qualifications and responsibilities for this Commercial Roofing Estimator position include:
- Experience preparing accurate budget and cost estimates for commercial roofing projects
- Analyze blueprints, specifications, and project documents to determine material, labor, and subcontractor needs
- Perform detailed takeoffs, manage bid data, and create cost breakdowns for proposals
- Maintain relationships with clients, vendors, and subcontractors while coordinating bids and pricing
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple deadlines and project details simultaneously
- Excellent analytical and interpersonal skills; must be detail-oriented and proficient in spreadsheets and estimating tools
- Ability to interpret technical documentation and building codes
- Must work from the Texarkana office—remote work is not an option for this role
Salary: $65,000 - $80,000 per year, commensurate with experience.
Benefits: This full-time, permanent, direct-hire position offers great benefits including a PPO health plan with 70% employer-paid coverage and optional dependent coverage, 1 week of PTO in year one and 2 weeks starting in year two (negotiable), and a performance-based bonus of up to $3,000 based on KPIs.
