Qualifications and responsibilities for this Chief Estimator (Commercial Interiors) position include:
- Minimum 5 years of experience in commercial interior construction estimating
- Experience with office and retail interior renovation projects averaging $1M in size
- Proficiency with estimating software such as Procore, PlanSwift, and Bluebeam
- Prepare accurate and detailed cost estimates for interior construction projects
- Perform complete quantity take-offs and break down project components effectively
- Collaborate with the project team to analyze project scope and specifications
- Conduct occasional site walkthroughs for more accurate estimations (20% local travel)
- Maintain vendor and subcontractor communication for competitive pricing
Salary: $100,000 - $130,000 per year, commensurate with experience, plus 1% commission on total gross sales (potential to earn up to an additional $100,000).
