With major plans to scale and a collaborative 20-person team, they are seeking a Commercial Construction Estimator to join their Chicago office and help drive the success of major development projects. Qualifications and responsibilities for this Commercial Construction Estimator position include:
- 2+ years of commercial construction estimating experience preferred, but motivated candidates with less experience will be considered
- Bachelor’s Degree preferred
- Strong analytical skills and comfort working with numbers and complex data sets
- Excellent communication and follow-up skills with internal teams and external stakeholders
- Develop and manage cost estimates across all project phases: from feasibility studies to project close-out
- Collaborate with project stakeholders including Directors of Preconstruction and Construction, Project Managers, and the CEO
- Utilize tools such as Procore, MS Project, and Building Connected to manage estimates, schedules, and procurement workflows
- Participate in bid coordination, vendor qualification, and pricing strategy meetings
- Archive historical cost data to inform future project estimates
- Office hours are 8am to 5pm
Salary: $65,000 - $75,000 per year, commensurate with experience.
