Qualifications and responsibilities for this CNC Department Manager opportunity include:
- Must have a strong background in metal machining with automated machinery
- Experience with CAD software
- Manage the CNC department to ensure efficient and cost-effective production of precision parts and components
- Conduct and oversee CNC machine setups
- Create CNC programs using Fusion 360 or similar software
- Optimize CNC programs and tooling to achieve efficient cycle times
- Troubleshoot machining problems on CNC and other production machinery
- Estimate cycle times for new quoting parts
- Select tooling and manage tooling inventory
- Create and/or edit CAD drawings using AutoCAD software
Salary: $80,000 - $90,000 per year, commensurate with experience.
