Qualifications and responsibilities for this Civil Estimator position include:
- 1-3 years of experience as a Civil Estimator in commercial construction (projects ranging from $3-20 million).
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or similar field (preferred).
- Proficiency in Bluebeam is preferred, or similar software; experience with HeavyBid is a plus.
- Ability to source and evaluate bid opportunities, review contract documents, and manage vendor pricing.
- Experience reading blueprints for all aspects of site development.
- Attend pre-bid meetings, conduct job-site visits, and maintain relationships with subcontractors and vendors.
- Must have a valid driver’s license and a clean driving record.
Salary: $80,000 - $110,000 per year, commensurate with experience.
Benefits: This full-time, permanent, direct-hire position offers great benefits including a 401(k) with a 3% match after one year, health insurance, and potential relocation assistance on a case-by-case basis.
