Qualifications and responsibilities for this CAD Designer position include:
- Associate's degree or equivalent, with 2+ years of experience; or 5+ years of experience without technical training.
- Expertise in AutoCAD (2D), Autodesk Inventor (3D), and Vault Professional/Collaboration.
- Strong knowledge of fabrication principles, metal fabrication, and custom manufacturing processes.
- Proficient in creating full Bill of Materials (BOM) and familiar with Microsoft Office suite.
- Prepare accurate mechanical component drawings using AutoCAD and Inventor based on various customer and internal documents.
- Collaborate with Engineering, Manufacturing, and Sales to ensure designs meet customer needs and specifications.
- Assist in the design and assembly of component parts, considering manufacturing processes like metal fabrication, machining, and prototyping.
Salary: $28.00 - $34.00 per hour, commensurate with experience.
