Qualifications and responsibilities for this Building Maintenance Technician position include:
- Minimum 3 years’ experience in property maintenance or equivalent field
- High school diploma or trade school required
- Must have dependable personal vehicle and provide proof of liability insurance
- General apartment maintenance skills including carpentry, plumbing, HVAC, electrical, and appliance repair
- Ability to operate hand tools, power tools, and mechanical equipment
- Willingness to travel between properties and work occasional emergency overtime
- Must pass a drug test and criminal background check
- Responsible for completing repair requests, maintaining safety standards, and ensuring property conditions meet company guidelines
- Schedule: Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM, with overtime as needed for emergencies
Salary: $18.00 - $25.00 per hour, commensurate with experience.
Benefits: This full-time, permanent, direct-hire position offers great benefits including health insurance, two weeks of vacation, HSA, 8 holidays and a floating holiday, and quarterly performance-based bonuses.
