Qualifications and responsibilities for this Bridge Engineer position include:
- B.S. degree in Structural or Civil Engineering; EIT preferred
- 1–3 years of experience (full-time or internship) with concrete and/or steel structure design and assessment
- Assist in structural analysis for bridge replacements, rehabilitations, and maintenance projects
- Familiarity with INDOT Design Manual, submittals, permitting, and environmental requirements
- Support NBIS bridge inspections in the field and office, including data entry and site photography
- Develop engineering drawings using MicroStation; create quantities and estimates using Open Roads and Excel
- Proficiency with design software including AASHTOWare, Merlin Dash, Consys 2000, Conspan, Staad/Pro, Excel, and MathCad
- Valid driver’s license and ability to travel to project and client sites
Salary: $60,000 - $87,000 per year, commensurate with experience.
