We’re seeking an Associate Principal Structural Engineer to join a collaborative, imaginative structural engineering firm in Seattle, WA (Hybrid). Qualifications and responsibilities for this Associate Principal Structural Engineer position include:
- Current Washington State Professional Engineer (P.E.) license (S.E. preferred)
- 10+ years of experience in structural engineering, including advanced structural design for mass timber, wood, steel, and concrete projects across various sectors including commercial, wellness centers, transit, and educational facilities
- Proven success in business development, including 3+ years building client relationships in Seattle or the Northwest U.S.
- Strong leadership and mentorship skills, with a track record of team building and guiding engineers through project execution
- Ability to take on Engineer of Record responsibilities and ensure project performance and technical soundness
- Proficiency in AutoCAD is required; Revit experience is a plus
- Travel occasionally for collaboration and leadership meetings, including potential trips to the Vancouver office
- Passion for innovation, public speaking, and pushing the envelope in structural design
Salary: $140,000 - $170,000 per year, commensurate with experience.
