Description
Join a rapidly expanding telecommunications engineering firm as a Director of Sales/Business Development in the Dallas, TX area, with hybrid flexibility and potential remote consideration for exceptional candidates outside the area. This is a high-impact, newly created leadership opportunity for a true hunter who can drive Midwest market expansion, open new accounts, secure long-term client relationships, and help build a regional sales infrastructure from the ground up.
Qualifications and responsibilities for this Director of Sales/Business Development position include:
- 5–7+ years of senior-level B2B sales experience with a proven track record of generating new business
- Established book of business and strong relationships within telecom infrastructure, fiber, wireless, utility, energy, data center, or engineering services markets
- Experience selling engineering services related to OSP fiber telecom, wireless, data centers, and energy/utility sectors
- Strong technical fluency in physical network design, municipal permitting, and civil engineering constraints
- Drive business development, client acquisition, and profitable pipeline growth across the Midwest fiber telecom market
- Secure long-term Master Service Agreements and develop relationships with regional carriers, utilities, and enterprise clients
- Build out a regional sales infrastructure from scratch in a high-growth environment
- Travel and meet clients face-to-face while independently opening new accounts and driving revenue
Salary: $140,000 - $180,000 per year, commensurate with experience.
