Qualifications and responsibilities for this Building Maintenance Engineer position include:
- 5-7 years of experience with complex building systems, including HVAC, plumbing, electrical, carpentry, and painting
- Familiarity with steam stations, cooling towers, chilling plants, and building management/security systems
- Perform general maintenance and repairs in a high-rise commercial building
- Administer preventative maintenance programs and manage work orders using an online system
- Oversee contractor activity for facility repairs and special projects as needed
- Conduct safety inspections for systems like sprinklers, generators, and exit signage
- Participate in rotating on-call support (once a month) and handle emergency response when required
- Assist in developing SOPs and support capital and operating budget processes
Salary: $30.00 - $35.00 per hour, commensurate with experience.
